First Community Coalition Breakfast Successful

The first Community Coalition Breakfast was held August 30th at the newly painted Plummer Community Center to celebrate that small but significant event. Over thirty five community leaders from accross the reservation came together for breakfast and conversation. The informal setting allowed for open communication between individuals who have had little contact with each other in the past. The goal was to begin building relationships to improve our sense of community. That goal was successful. The community center looked great too. As Wilma Bob shared with the group, the building had the look of poverty and like an old friend we gave the building a boost. We can do the same with our communities if we all work together.
