JoAnn Brown-Sonder Benefit - March 28

Wednesday, March 19th, 2008

As most of you probably know, JoAnn Brown-Sonder has been hospitalized since March 7 for congestive heart failure. (Baby Archer is doing fine). The doctors say this is extremely rare at her young age. She has responded well to the medication (her heart is now pumping at 25% instead of 12% - although it is supposed to be at 55% as I understand it) and they are now allowing her to walk around the hallways, whereas before she was only allowed to get out of bed to go to the bathroom. JoAnn is scheduled for surgery Thursday morning (March 20) for the doctors to put in a defibulator. I do not know how much longer she will be in the hospital. Needless to say, expenses are piling up for the family, due in part to the high price of gasoline.

The Lakeside Boosters are coordinating a benefit Spaghetti dinner on March 28, 2008, at the Longhouse in Worley, beginning at 4:30 p.m. and going until we run out of food. Price will be $5 per plate for spaghetti, salad, French bread, dessert, and a drink. Donations will also be accepted. We will be scheduling shifts for people to help cook on the 28th, and to serve, and do cleanup at the end. Please contact Mindy Parker if you want to volunteer to work.

Food donations can be made through the following people:

Lakeside High School – Dawn Sifford – 686-2158
Lakeside Middle School – Sherry Chapman – 686-2204
Lakeside Elementary – Mindy Parker – 686-2117
CDA Tribe – Chris Dohrman – 686-6106.
(We have already received 10 pounds of burger from Dale Johnson)

Dahlby Benefit

Monday, March 17th, 2008
