Presentation for business people, legislators, medical staff, law
enforcement, judicial staff, educators and others working with
people living in poverty—Learn about changes in communication styles to
reduce conflict and misunderstandings, methods to improve relationships with and
motivate people from poverty backgrounds and ways to frame goals from the
perspective of people with limited incomes. Dr. Beegle will help participants better
understand the context of growing up in poverty in the U.S. and build skills in
addressing class and poverty issues with sensitivity.
